We value active family involvement at St. Joseph’s, as we believe it is the most effective way to ensure high quality care care and an enjoyable place to live. Family members are warmly welcomed to visit frequently, attend mass, participate in social activities, and attend care plan and family council meetings.

 

A family member is strongly encouraged to participate in each care plan meeting during which an interdisciplinary team of staff members reviews each resident's health, nutrition, mobility and social interaction.  We also set goals for quality-of-life improvements.

 

Our family council is an independent organization made up of, and directed by, the relatives and friends of residents. This organization advocates for the residents and for family involvement.
