![]() When residents choose St. Joseph’s Home, we want them to feel comfortable and “at home.” We create a home-like atmosphere and encourage our residents to use personal items to create a warm and comfy place to live.
Sheltered care rooms are spacious private rooms, most with private bathrooms.
Intermediate nursing care rooms [link to Our Care] are semi-private rooms with shared bathrooms. In the Holy Family Center, all rooms are intermediate care rooms. Most are private rooms with private half-baths.
We serve three healthy meals and a snack each day. Residents enjoy buffet dining, where they can select from several entrees and sides. A certified dietary supervisor oversees meal planning and preparation.
A full-time staff of housekeepers takes care of all household chores and upholds our longstanding reputation for cleanliness.
All residents remain under the care of their personal physicians. Our nurses and certified nursing assistants provide round-the-clock care. They monitor vital signs and changes in physical condition and behavior, contacting the resident's family or physician when needed.
The social worker and her designees help ease each resident's transition to life at St. Joseph's Home. They assess each resident's social and emotional needs, and take time to learn about his or her social history. The social services department strives to help each person achieve a happy, healthy social life at St. Joseph's Home.
