Meet the Staff
Sr. Judith Morris, Co-Administrator - Sr. Judith Morris has been co-administrator of St. Joseph's Home since 1988 and administrator since 1993.
She earned a bachelor's degree from St. Ambrose University, in Davenport, Iowa, in education and a master's degree from Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, in speech pathology. Sr. Judith has taught in elementary schools in the Peoria diocese. In addition, she has been a speech pathologist at the Institute of Medicine and Rehabilitation in Peoria and has served as bookkeeper at St. Joseph's Home of Peoria and St. Joseph's Home of Springfield.
Sr. Mary Barbara Buckley, Co-Administrator
Sister Mary Barbara Buckley has been co-administrator of St. Joseph's Home of Springfield from 1983-1993. She served as president of the Sisters of St. Francis
of the Immaculate Conception from 1993-2001.
She received a B.A. degree in Education from St. Ambrose College and an M.A. in Secondary Education from Bradley University.
She has taught in elementary Catholic schools in the Diocese of Peoria and was principal from 1968 to 1983. She was also assistant administrator at St. Joseph�s Home of Peoria.
Betty Kling, Director of Nurses - Betty Kling earned an associates degree in nursing from Phillips Community College in Helena, Arkansas. She has been a nurse for about 12 years and was appointed Director of Nurses at St. Joseph's Home in 2000.
Terri Hempstead, Director of Fund Development - Terri Hempstead joined the staff of St. Joseph's Home in 1997 as director of fund development where she oversees public relations, fund development projects including the annual ornament program, and publications. She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and speech communication from Eastern Illinois University.
